Because we were created from love. God is love and God created us. If it weren't for love, we would be so indifferent with each other we would not feel the need to protect those we call our own. (Of course this explanation only works if you believe in God). If you do not believe in God, how about this; without love, there would be nothing to offset hate.

That's because we only know the emotional love, not the unconditional love God created us from. If we could learn to love without conditions, love would not hurt.

I'm not a Christian. Even they do not know how to love unconditionally. They always include the demand to accept Christ or face Hades if the person chooses not to accept Christ. Then they claim they say this because they love you. That is not unconditional love. So, their love is not God's love. It's their own emotional love that can hurt if the person is offended by the threat of hell and eternal damnation coming from one of their peers, just another man or woman who are no better than anyone else living on this physical plane.

You should join a chat forum. There are many to choose from. I don't have a lot of time to just sit and chat. I have the forum to look after and my home and my pets and errands to run (leaving soon to go to the post office and get gas for my truck, etc). What about Facebook? Do you have an account there or are you too young to get an account?

I meant, create a new Facebook account so you can get back on Facebook and connect with friends there.
