If you mean the explosions after the Tsunami and earthquake, yes, we were told and we were told of the serious implications back when it all happened. None of the governments have even address this or if they have any plans in place about the impending disasters. I'm not even sure if there is anything they can do. What I do know is that they should not have allowed Japan to kick nuclear disaster experts out of their country and should not have allowed only Japan to take care of the leaks that I do not believe they have stopped yet. Did you know the 2020 summer Olympics are going to be held in Japan? If Japan or anyone else is still around that is.

Hmm, not sure if I can trust someone who may know little about radio-activity or who uses the word sh*t a lot or who's life goal is to throw expensive sh*t into the ocean. We have sea life dying in droves off the New England coast and no answers as to why. This is happening in many waters in different countries.

I think the Dr. meant expensive oceanographic equipment hon! I just found her's to be a less alarmist view...not to downplay the utter immediate importance of what is going on on Fukushima tho'. This will affect the whole world there have been reports that most of the Fish have died and are affected also in Canada the fish have been affected so it will affect us all very soon watch this space my recommendation is not to eat fish ever it can not be cleared up it will kill everything it could take up to twenty years for is to see a major disaster sorry to be so gloomy but have taken a very grest interest in this because of the Dolphins and the Whales in which they kill and then sell on some of the pod to seaworld OUTRAGED BOYCOTT JAPAN AND. SEAWORLD

Saw Blackfish and cried. How could they harm those awesome animals?!
I have given up what comes from the ocean.
I can't believe that the Olympicss are set to be held in Japan. Where are the people whose homes have been destroyed. Do you hear about them?
I know several Jqpanese people. They do not mention this.

That gives the Japanese an excuse to continue poisoning the earth through leaking radiation? You can not compare 1960's bomb tests to a complete failure of nuclear reactors. By the way, we did not test them on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, we dropped them on Hiroshima and Nagasaki to prove our military superiority and to end the war.

Colleen you are so right the Japanese are incompent as for the Olimpics these should be banned the water is not even safe to drink babies are being born now are severely disabled it goes on and on I could on and on .....on this subject but you would get very bored lol

do not forget we tested 2 nuclear bombs on them so its our fault that their reactor is leaking but yet all the ones we dropped in White Sands New Mexico did not make our reactors leak

Did the Japanese people think of us dropping the Nuclear bombs was an attack of some kind ... and not a test.
I'm unsure what bombs you are talking about.

I think his answer was tongue in cheek. The Japanese knew we dropped the bombs because we were at war with them because of WWII. The nukes ended the war.
