Being an actor takes a lot of free time, and a lot of patients. I have the same dream as you. As a high school there is only so little that I can do, but I joined the Drama club, and was recently cast in the Cleveland production of "The Great Gastby". If you read the book, my character was George Wilson. I enjoyed working with other cast members and being of the play. Yes, you can be an actor but you have to work hard at it. Try to audition for play around your area. If you go on google you will find a whole bunch of selections.

Crystal Nicole Marcano - Actress/Screenwriter on Facebook offers help. There are lots of folk who know the ‘ins’ and ‘outs’ of Hollywood. I advise start where you are and join your local actors group, performing on stage in public…telling stories and the occasional joke….then asking for money for support…..sounds like what preachers do on Sundays with a choral back-up and passing the collection plate. Curious isn’t it….that actors, preachers and politicians all do something so similar.

You can be whatever you want to be, just remember, nothing you want to be will come easy, you will need to work for your goal. You can be a doctor, scientist, astronaut and even actor if you want it bad enough and are willing to work your way to that goal. Do that and you will succeed, its impossible to fail when you want something bad enough and are willing to go after it and not give up!
