    Do you wear nail polish?

Thought I'd change my direction. What color? Mine are pinkish orange, I guess.

Not since I stopped cross dressing!

    Hahahahah.

I do but only when my nails are all grown out evenly.  I tend to break one just as I'm ready to paint!

My nails are short. I hated them. There are so many beautiful colors. Anyway, I filed them way down. Very short. I pushed my cuticles back and you know ... my hands look great. They look 100 times better than those nails you see that are really long and have painted designs on them. Short nails are in. My daughter is a "fashion expert" Her nail manicurist filed the nails way down. That's how I got the idea. Paint them, Julie!

OK, I’ll paint them. I have some gold glitter polish coming in tomorrow from AVON!

I only wear it once in great while----b/c as soon as I put it on, it chips off. But, back in the earlier 2000s, a friend of mine introduced me to those stick-on nails. And I had a lot of fun with those. They stayed on pretty well. It looked beautiful for that Christmas. I like the idea of Julie's gold glitter

We're open about things here. I'm sure the guys will start doing the same. You will be a fad starter. fard stater?

I like to buff my manicured nails. It looks and feels better than nail polish. I sometimes use wax to keep buffed nails bright. Most of the women I have been with have been fashionable and neat in appearance. Salons tend to use chemicals and methods that destroy the nail bed resulting in nails that are thin and easily cracked, requiring the continual use of false nails/ glue-on nails. That’s a pricy thing to indulge and keep up with. Those aeromatic adhesives and paints…I would prefer to avoid. Buff and wax to keep your nails healthy. Cuticles require careful treatment as well. I use cutting implements as little as possable and use hand creams and soaps that don’t dry hands. Most market brands of soap I now avoid in favor of home made varieties that my companion here produces. Soap making on You Tube is impressive to tour or study. Sandy sells soap to more than cover production cost.
