I do but only when my nails are all grown out evenly. I tend to break one just as I'm ready to paint!

I like to buff my manicured nails. It looks and feels better than nail polish. I sometimes use wax to keep buffed nails bright. Most of the women I have been with have been fashionable and neat in appearance. Salons tend to use chemicals and methods that destroy the nail bed resulting in nails that are thin and easily cracked, requiring the continual use of false nails/ glue-on nails. That’s a pricy thing to indulge and keep up with. Those aeromatic adhesives and paints…I would prefer to avoid. Buff and wax to keep your nails healthy. Cuticles require careful treatment as well. I use cutting implements as little as possable and use hand creams and soaps that don’t dry hands. Most market brands of soap I now avoid in favor of home made varieties that my companion here produces. Soap making on You Tube is impressive to tour or study. Sandy sells soap to more than cover production cost.
