i had a misdemeanor dui in 1998 it was my first time ever in trouble i received 6 MTh in jail and fined and had to pay restitution put on court probation and ordered to take dui classes I have paid everything off but i cant get my drivers license because I didn't do the dui classes how or who can I get to help me with this? the judge gave me a very sever sentence because he knew my father he was forced off the bench how can I get help for this

Look in the phone book for AA meetings. Find one in your area that is an accredited program. Go to the meetings and get signed off that you have attended X amount of meetings (whatever the court set the amount of meetings to). If you believe the judge was too harsh with you and used personal feelings to sentence you, then consult a lawyer. Every state in the USA sets their own DUI laws and punishments so I can not say if the judge was too harsh on you or not.
