They are not effective enough to reach me. I want to watch and listen to what is being said. Body language, tone of voice, facial expression is more important than ever, in an election. Anybody can write anything....true or untrue. It's more difficult to lie to people, face to face....not that lies are ever told in an election!

To be effective the advertisement should be for the opposition with the slogan “I’LL Stick to the JOB”, and GLUE the pamphlet to the windshield.

A store owner once glued a big sign to the drivers side of my windshield b/c he was mad that I parked in his parking lot. I wasn't there for very long. He was one mean SOB.
Could it be that you were the 37th person to park in HIS parking lot that day, the lot which HE pays for on behalf of HIS customers? Everyone who is confronted about parking in a spot that is ALWAYS POSTED, replies with the same response. "I was only here for a few minutes". It doesn't matter how long you parked there. You have no right to do that. Would you prefer to be towed away and then pay impound fees? That's his other option. Maybe next time.
