My hobby is dictionary work….looking up the meanings of words and their origin. I have many other hobbies as well.

. Everybody liked him) When I read or hear a word, I write it down and look it up ... almost always.
I had a poetry class and had to look up every word (except 'and' and 'but' I learned so much in that glass. I chose Dylan Thomas and especially Fern Hill.
I used to write poetry ... but found no use for it. ha ha.

I enjoy this twice a week from September through mid-April, and at least once a week between mid-April and the end of August: 
I ALSO ENJOY SPENDING A TON OF MONEY ON DIFFERENT CRAFT ITEMS (YARN, BEADS, PAINTS, BRUSHES, CANVASSES, PENCILS, SKETCHPADS, FABRIC, PATTERNS, CRAFTING AND COOK BOOKS, ETC.) AND FINDING SOMEPLACE TO STORE THEM IN MY HOUSE FOR "SOME DAY".

I don't have a hobby right now. Maybe ... just maybe I'll paint a huge canvas. I've done it before and it is satisfying. If I start it, I have to finish it because it's kind of expensive ... I don't know.
P.S. My husband and I are going to sing a song every day. We'll do it until we get it right and then we'll move on to another.
My other hobby is collecting ideas and then looking them up. I should keep a running list.
