    fashion, this is not brain surgery. 2 digits mulitplied by 2 digits is not that hard. Fractions is harder. Algebra is obscure

     Break the problem up so it will be less multiplying. Zeros are easy to work with.

    Just put a zero as last digit then multiply 99 x 6. Then multiply 99 x 4. Last add the two products.
