Let your email and Facebook buddies know about your business. Like MCM suggested, put up signs wherever you can.  Perhaps you can set a small budget for advertising.  Certainly you need some business cards, and maybe get some of those magnetic signs to attach to your car. At the least, get some lettering done on the back window.  

If your business is one that can be promoted at different venues, by all means, make the effort to get a booth.  The cost may be a little high, but if you can swing one or two, it could make a huge difference.  Besides, all those expenses can be reported on your income tax return documents. Keep track of your business mileage, too.  A small notebook where you document starting and ending miles each time you go somewhere business related (and note where you went) is also tax-worthy.  KEEP TRACK OF EVERYTHING.
