    Apply pressure to the wound and raise it about the level of the heart (if you can). Hold the pressure until the bleeding stops. Use cleanest material available or just your hand……….

    Pressure, stops bleeding. If someone is bleeding put a towl ,shirt, cloth, anything clean on the area which is bleeding a press on it , hold it there until the bleeding stops, or someone proffesional arrives, you may have saved someones life by then.
