do creditors have to remove bad credit info from your credit report after declairing bankruptcy, or does it remain with a zero balance?

I declaired bankruptcy, and all the bad credit is still listed. It shows 30, 60, and/or 90 day late still. The only differance is the balance owed. It show a 0 balance, but still counts as bad credit and now I have a bankruptcy on top of it.

Do not have an exact answer to your question, but I recently got a phone call from a collection agency for a gas card from 1984. Apparently bad stuff stays longer than 7 years. Talk to an accountant.
bad scores usually last 7 years on Credit Reports.
