Well I heard a very distinct tree-knock a short while ago followed by a single 'whoop' sounding just across the river and up an embankment...that was about an hour ago...and 10 minutes ago I heard three 'whoops' coming from upstream and just NOW another single 'whoop' from the first direction...very cool!
Okay...just listened to a series of very mournful howl-yell-moans further away than that initial sound and now it's getting closer...I've got to go to the 'owl' gallery and listen to a few sounds although...this sounds really weird!
Yes...Great Grey Owls !!! They have an eerieness about them but they do not 'whoop'! At this point I am certain I'm being watched from across the creek...but I don't mind. They're very quiet now. Yesterday Storm and I found a new massive teepee structure across the creek and upstream about 40 acres near the golf course road...Storm freaked out. It is huge! We're talking like 60 feet plus tall crisscrossed logs like a monster teepee...so cool that I must go back and bushwhack and get pics! ;)
For sure, get pics! Tell Storm to stop freaking. She's tougher than mother nature. No freaking ;)

Pretty soon, he'll miss you and want your attention, and he'll know the grass is not greener on the other side of the fence. After a month or two, he'll be talking to you.

Hey, you guys already broke up for a reason, do you really think it is worthy of trying to start everything all over again to later on bump onto the same obstacle that already made you break up once again? What's done is done, maybe you just shouldn't get back together and both should move on in separate ways.
