When will GOD come? It is not GOD that is coming, it's the only begotten son Jesus he will be the one to come an only GOD is the one that know when.

Your literacy skills leave something to be desired. I am embarrassed FOR you. I don't know what point you're trying to make here, but what comes across is fanatical, scary, and belligerent. Are these supposed to be Christian virtues? Stop, already.
By the way, when referring to God, or people, don't use "that", use "who".
"It is not God WHO is coming....." She is the one WHO arrived in the limo. Carl is the one WHO broke the lamp.

It was founded by people of many different beliefs. This is what makes the USA so unique. People are allowed to not believe in God here. Even many of our founding fathers did not remain with the religions or beliefs that they were born into. Some where free thinkers and some even questioned if there truly is a God. You are repeating a generalized belief of how this country was settled and it is wrong. I believe in God but I do not believe in hell and it truly is not your place to decide who will go to this hell you believe in Rev. Dan. akaQA is open to all beliefs, not just yours so please do not believe you can damn the members to hell here if they do not believe what you believe. Take your preaching elsewhere where people may appreciate it. Thanks.

I was going to make an answer but you said it better.

People tend to leave God out for a couple reasons. One is a lack of faith or belief in his existence. Another is that what God wants from us is inconvenient to the plans we have for ourselves. Some people choose to push God aside or disregard the Bible's words because they want to think what they do that is sinful in the Bible is actually not sinful. Editing or interpreting to validate their choices. Some just make up their own rules and call it their own religion.

One thing that is an offensive turnoff is when someone, like you, for example,  threatens another with an eternity of hell. I prefer to focus on the blessings and benevolence of God. People like you give God a bad name with your holier than thou attitude. As Jesus once said, " Let he who is without sin cast the first stone".

BobéPKB, I agree with first part of your answer - lack of faith. Humans tend to believe in tangibles whereas GOD is spirit. What does GOD want from us. He has no needs. He is there for you and guide you so can know him.
    Bob/PKB

God wants a relationship with us. One on one. I get that.

That certainly works for me since I much prefer hot summers to cold winters. By the way, would you happen to know what the average daytime temperature in Hell is ?

    Hell: Exothermic or Endothermic?

LOL.....I don't know if you will appreciate this or not, but I received this in a recent e-mail and I thought it was quite good.

    Hell: Exothermic or Endothermic?

This answer to a college chemistry exam was sent to me recently and restores my faith in the new generation of college students. The answer was purportedly in response to the bonus question on a University of Arizona chemistry midterm: “Is Hell exothermic (gives off heat) or endothermic (absorbs heat)?”

    Here is the student’s answer:

First, we need to know how the mass of Hell is changing in time. So we need to know the rate at which souls are moving into Hell and the rate at which they are leaving, which is unlikely. I think that we can safely assume that once a soul gets to Hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving. As for how many souls are entering Hell, let’s look at the different religions that exist in the world today.

Most of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, you will go to Hell. Since there is more than one of these religions and since people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all souls go to Hell. With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in Hell to increase exponentially. Now, we look at the rate of change of the volume in Hell because Boyle’s Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in Hell to stay the same, the volume of Hell has to expand proportionately as souls are added.

    This gives two possibilities:

    1. If Hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls enter Hell, then the temperature and pressure in Hell will increase until all Hell breaks loose.

    2. If Hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in Hell, then the temperature and pressure will drop until Hell freezes over.

    So which is it?

If we accept the postulate given to me by Teresa during my Freshman year that, ‘It will be a cold day in Hell before I sleep with you,’ and take into account the fact that I slept with her last night, then number two must be true, and thus I am sure that Hell is exothermic and has already frozen over. The corollary of this theory is that since Hell has frozen over, it follows that it is not accepting any more souls and is therefore, extinct….. …leaving only Heaven, thereby proving the existence of a divine being which explains why, last night, Teresa kept shouting ‘Oh my God.’

    The student reportedly received a well-deserved A+

LOL. Although I could poke a few holes in his exposé, I too would grade him an A+.

must be pretty hot, Digger. So change your plans.
    digger

Don't be vague, sawali. Give it to me in degrees !

So, you know the will of God? You must be quite a guy (or gal). Separation between church and state is to blame, and I'm for it1

It is perfectly reasonable to abandon a god threatening harsh treatment for an infraction of a moral  choice. How else do children learn not to do that? Harsh treatment at the hand of “god” is ridiculous because such threats would simply drive children away and teach fear instead of Love. So if you seek to champion a “Cold Comfort Farm” style Bibliography of Bible thumping, you’ll find yourself unwelcome here.

To leave GOD out is sad. Keep him with you because he does not take too much of your time.

    digger

Being the generous type that I am, I forfeit any time whatsoever with God to others.
    sawali

you are generous and seem to be doing a favour to GOD.
    digger

That's ME,sawali. Doing favours for anyone in need. Now, do you STILL think I'm destined for Hell?
    Bob/PKB

Based on his faith, probably, but let's hope he knows better than to judge another's eternity. I do, or at least try to keep it to myself!

Yes, we are not to judge who is going where. The word of God does that. If people would just read the Scriptures for themselves, maybe they would understand more clearly. The scripture does say "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believe in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life" John 3:16.

So process of elimination would mean that those who do not believe will not have eternal life but will have eternal death.

I didn't say it, The Scriptures says it.
