    New school, New people

I'm starting high school this year.
I have about 5 others from my old school
Coming with me to my new one,
I am not really close with any of them
I mean, we are friends but we probably won't
Sit with each other at lunch.
3 of them are close and the other two make
Friends easily. What should I do?
Should I make new friends? Or try to sit with my
    Old classmates at lunch??
Also, my cousin is coming to this school,
We aren't that close and she also has friends
From her school.i need advice, please comment
    Some answers! Please!
    I need help. Thanks.

My first thought is to have a friendly smile and hello for everyone, but keep an eye on who hangs out with who. If the kids are real cliqueish, you don't want to get labeled just because you ate lunch at the wrong table. Don't be in a big hurry to identify with a particular crowd.  If there are clubs or activities,  pick ones you are truly interested in, as you'll find people there who are probably most compatible. Community activities, same thing, including sports.

The main thing to remember is that your friendship is a treasure to give. If one of the people you know invites you to sit at lunch, do it, if you want. Be cordial to your cousin.

It is a scary time, for sure, but concentrate on being yourself and the fact you are there for an  education.
