Please explain?

If I want to know how to get to Chicago from Denver- What do you need to know? I guess if I want to stay around and involve myself I might give a little more info! I laugh my self silly about some birthdates!  Some folks are a hundred years old! Others are tiny babies!

Since there are no membership dues, and the actual information serves no useful purpose, I don't see the point.  Another problem is verifying information.  
Like CLU said, the majority of questions don't necessitate a valid ID from the ones who respond.

We each have ideas. The person with a question can read over the various comments and decide for himself/herself what is the best in their case. It is unique.

They do ask you to fill out a little profile when you apply for akaQA .And sometimes, you have to enter a password,before you can see the answer to a question. As least, I do.
