Customizing Popups Blocker Settings

Click on the "Tools" drop-down menu at the top right corner of the browser window under the close (X) button. It looks like 3 horizontal lines.

Click "Options."

Select the "Under the Hood" tab.

Click on the "Content Settings" button under Privacy.

Select the "Pop-ups" tab.

If it is not already selected, select "Do not allow any site to show up (recommended)" to block pop-ups or "Allow all sites to show up" to disable the blocker.

If you want to allow or block pop-ups from specific sites, click on the "Exceptions..." button under the Pop-ups tab.

Click on the "Add" button to add exceptions or "Edit," "Remove" or "Remove All" to edit or remove existing exceptions.

Type in or copy and paste the source or "pattern" you want to block or allow. To edit or remove exceptions, click on the exception.

Select "Allow" or "Block" from the "Action" drop-down menu.

Click "OK" to confirm your choice.

Click "Close" on all tabs and windows you opened to save your settings and changes.
Viewing Popups While Browsing

When a pop-up is blocked you will see a notification in your address bar.

Click on the pop-up notification icon.

Select "Always show pop-ups from (site)" if you no longer want this pop-up blocked. This will add the site to your exception list.

If you no longer want to see pop-ups from this site, remove it from the exception list.
