    i have a windows 7 copy on my laptop but i want to download a windows vista copy from the internet

      The only one who can give away Vista for free is Microsoft. I checked their site. They have no free downloads. Vista is actually a downgrade from Windows 7, not an upgrade. Be sure you know what you are doing.
