Check the fuel pump relay. Check the wiring/connector at the fuel pump to make sure it's secure. (You may have to drop the fuel tank for this). Or have the engine tested by a computer and see what error codes you get. Or just replace the fuel pump if you feel that is what the problem is. I would get it tested first before I wasted my time doing this and that to try and track down the issue. This will require a tow to the garage though. That's why I have AAA.
