Nook uses Barnes and Noble eBooks you can not download Amazon eBooks to it. Kindle is for Amazon eBooks. 

How to download an eBook to a Nook

Turn on your Nook and go to the shopping menu. Tap the home button to go to the home menu. Swipe the home menu across the screen until you see the shop button and tap it to open up the shopping menu.

Search for the eBook you wish to download by typing the title into the search bar. Once found, select it by tapping the circle button on the right hand side of the screen to open the option menu.

Purchase your eBook. When the options menu loads, tap the buy button. When a menu pops up asking you to confirm your purchase, press the buy now button.

Find your new eBook in your library. Tap the home button and select the my library button. Navagate to the title you just purchased and press the circle button. If the eBook hasn't already downloaded automatically, you will be brought to the overview page where you will be given the option to press download on the touchscreen to begin downloading. Once the download is completed, you can tap the read button and enjoy your purchase.
