    I KNOW THIS MUCH IS TRUE,and TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD and THE GODFATHER to name a few I've read several times..........

    Never had the chance to read anything but the revues. Not all that interested............

    Fifteen, by Beverly Cleary
    The Catcher In The Rye, by J.D. Salinger
    Bertie Comes Through (can't remember the author's name) 


    (I've many favorite authors, but those books are on my top-of-the-stack list)

    Henry Gregor Felsen wrote it, read it many years ago.

    Thank you very much, ROMOS. I love the story; two of my sons read it when they were 10-12 and both really liked it.
    THAT kind of book would make good required reading in our schools...guess I am just a softy.
