Where do most women keep their pocket books in the home?

Another question spurred this question. We were broken into years ago, and the police guessed where the pocket books were stored. In the kitchen, on a door knob of the pantry closet. The number two answer was on the chair of kitchen/dining room. (my wife had two, she would often make a last minute change, depending on the outfit, as she dashed off to work!)

I can't really say about my own purse, because 9 times out of 10, I can't remember where I left it.

My mom, however, keeps hers in the cupboard under the flower shelf ....except for the time she put it in the oven. Talk about money to burn!!!

I keep mine on a shelf in the closet at the entrance. (Handy for the burglars).

We'll never tell where we keep our purses, cash, and good jewlery. But, I'll tell you one thing, if burglars break into my home, they're going to be disappointed. They're going to say, " What the h- - - are we doing here ? !! There's no expensive guns,jewlery, cameras, I pods, I pads, no big HD TV, no cash to speak of,no lap top, no Kindle.. Sorry, burglars.

my daughter was mugged while in Spain years ago. She had her wallet on a chain around her neck, it hung on her chest, the woman reached right in front of her face, and grabbed at the wallet, and ran off with some cash. It happened so fast she almost didn't realize what had happened, she only had a description as a toothless old lady...
