They're very tiny teeth but they're in there. I have five!

Getting up to walk the dog before it gets so hot the sidewalk burns his paws...supposed to be 114 today

    ROMOS

That's bloody hot, have some cool flannels ready for his feet, and yours.
    Bob/PKB

We probably got in a bit over 2 miles in an hour (9-10), stopping every 30 feet for him to sniff and, well, you know. Now he wants to play. I think I'll put him outside.
    hector5559

No leave him inside, its to hot for him outside, and put the fan on for him,
    Bob/PKB

He is so pampered, you wouldn't believe it. Almost time for today's stroll.
    jhharlan

I thought I had you beat at 108! jeez, are we in Hell?
    Bob/PKB

More often than not. Write me!
    jhharlan

I did write you and asked for you number again. send it.....
    lambshank

I think I'd be staying inside with the air con on, soaking in a cool bath with a good book and a pina colada
    Bob/PKB

We barely stepped outside today. So hot it was hard to breathe
    itsmee

That was a terrible day, Bob. When I woke up I felt like there was a cat on my chest. I would like to move out of Fresno but I can't ... just can't. If I could I'd get a little place by the ocean. Morro Bay would be just fine. We lived there before we came here.
    Bob/PKB

It will never make sense why you had to move from a great place like Morro Bay to the armpit of the Central Valley. My best friend and I talk about getting a small group of women to invest in a place at the coast...like a timeshare only you know the other owners and can vacation with them or without them. Let me know if you are interested....not that I can afford it right now.
If you like to walk, the canal off Clovis on Butler really is a pleasant stroll. Lots of shade, and the water (for now...). There's a big weeping willow that sticks out over the water at one point, with ducks (not Ducky, though) swimming around. Very nice.
    itsmee

I'm afraid I will not be able to afford "a small house by the ocean" Not in this life time. Your idea sounds very very good. People go out and buy RV's and to me that is just not a good idea.

Didn't you move to Fresno from a beautiful place in Northern California. (Maybe it was someone else)

I moved here cuz I've got lots of little grand daughters around the corner. Also, it was soooo expensive for us in Moro Bay -- or any place in that area.
    Bob/PKB

I went to CSU Humboldt and lived in that area 14 years. Came back when I married. We wanted our kids to be near grandparents. They spend more time with her now than as kids. My ex was an odd duck about my parents. My sister had her son with my folks a lot. I didn't want to impose the same way. I'm glad I am here, for my mom, but my heart is 500 miles NW.
    itsmee

Bob/PKB: I lost all my addresses. I’d like to communicate with you in some way - there are so many now a days. Gotta get my mail working.
    Bob/PKB

    sawali

what are U DOING RIGHT NOW?

Sitting here late at night on the computer in the freezing cold listening to the rain pouring down.

Begs a question. where are you?

Wish I was there in Australia, its so hot and humid here in Connecticut. Sitting here in front of the fan with a cold drink trying to get cooler. It's barely working.

I was looking at my question on wedding wrapping paper to see if anyone had answered. No one has and I think that no one will. I’ll probably go out and get the dang expensive ivory wrapping paper unless I hear from “an expert"

    lambshank

Sorry, didn't see the question, but personally I put a lot of effort into buying gifts I think the person would enjoy, so also do the same for the wrapping, doesn't have to be expensive,
    itsmee

I wrapped my wedding present in paper so bright it was almost flourescent. The top was covered with beautiful artificial sunflowers. The wrapping and card cost almost as much as the gift inside.
    lambshank

oh itsmee,I really hate paying the rip off prices for wrapping, I often go to one the dollar stores (which incidentally are usually $10 stores!) and buy gift boxes, they look great and are very inexpensive, I recently bought one for my mums birthday gift, it was a bit too big, so I filled up the gaps with her favorite chocolates, she loved it, looked thoughtful and still cost very little
    itsmee

lambshank, I love your idea of filling in the gaps with chocolates.
    mycatsmom

Itsmee, Just give them money. That's what they want !
    itsmee

mcm: I often give money for gifts but I sure don’t like to do that. I like to pick out a gift but all the while I know that MONEY is all they want.
    itsmee

Don! Nanu nanu right back atchoo! : )
    lambshank

I'm with Don, whilst I give money to my teenage grandchildren, older relatives prefer a personal gift, as I do, just shows they have gone to the time and trouble to it. I often just buy something I think someone would like whenever I see it, put it away until the occasion comes up,amazing how all those little things can add up to a really worthwhile gift

Im sitting here, falling to sleep, but still have one eye open, trying to read  and answer questions.but not for much longer.
