Hand everyone, everywhere, your business card. Place one on every bulletin board that will allow it. Ask every friend, relative, associate, if they could give you the name and telephone number of anyone who may use your services. Ask people to put a flyer up at their place of employment. If you are involved in any organizations, ask if you could make a brief announcement at your next meeting. Always carry business cards and always have flyers with you! Most importantly, follow up every lead and do so immediately. As soon as you are able, spend some money on advertising. You need to be advertising in the same places that you find your competition...telephone directories, business directories, television, radio, Chamber of Commerce, billboards, etc.
Remember: Selling yourself, will also sell your business!
