should i marry a man that is in an MC bike club and runs with outlaws

My iance joined an MC bike group and now he is all into running with the Outlaws.  His whole personality is changing when he with them and Im not sure I should follow through with our wedding plans.  They drink and party all the time,  Just wondering if I should move on to someone better and not waste anymore years on him.

Sounds to me like he's moved on already, you should do what your head is telling you to do and not your heart.

If you like to ride motorcycles, hang with the Outlaws, drink, party and are willing to match your personality to his "new" one, then continue on with your marriage plans. Keep in mind, that if you marry him and have kids, someone has to look after them, do laundry, cook meals, grocery shop, clean the house, meet with their teachers, clean up after their dog, etc. etc. etc. Oh, and someone needs to earn a paycheck. Do you think that he will be at your side to enjoy that life? Pay attention....what you see is what you'll get!

Just the fact that she has to ask (really?) probably means that the wedding is still on. Heartache looms. :(

    It's ok Ducky
The young and new generation is a bit harsh and naive. I learn from your answers and other elder and younger people here in this forum. And that I am thankful ^_^

I also learn from this forum and always have more to learn but thank you for the compliment AldeWicht.

You have trust your intuition after all, you're a women. Out of all their "luck" has been correct. Trust yourself, and you will find the answer soon. If you make a mistake, you'll know it. I know you will ;)

    haha what do you mean?

    aha
    i concur ^^

I had a girlfriend in the same boat. She married him and lost him to the "crowd" on occasion. She was killed on his bike, he didn't make it either..........

hairdiva, Sounds like, your Lance, is not yours any more, he has become part of the MC bike group.  Running with the out law is not good and trouble is bound to follow. This does not sound like a good future for you. Move on and find some one who can show you the life, love and respect you deserve, now and in the future. Good Luck.

Dolly, She was trying to say her fiance' ---not her Lance.

You can be a motorcycle momma!  They like to share their women, the motorcycle momma is property of the biker club, everyone gets a shot at it.  sound like fun??

Actually, I don't know, I'm going by the old Sonny Hell's Angels protocol.  i don't know if they are like that anymore, peeing on graves of dead comrades, riding recklessly their bailing wire beatup motorcycles,  robbing, stealing and getting drunk and high.   This is a picture of the old days.

Today I know several bikers, they are really good people, upstanding professionals that like to wear their colors on the weekends - Their bikes are 20~30k and even more, they have toy drives for needy kids, they help motorists that are stranded, its a different thing, but still when they party, they party.  Look into the members and club policies and habits, what is their cause.  changing personality for weekend showboating is fine, they are playing the part. Play acting! having fun.  If he treats you well in the past, i don't think he will change but i don't know him, you know him.  Motorcycling is fun!  I used to own a Harley, I didn't belong to a club but I liked to put on my leathers and ride with the guys, I had a very nice looking chopper.  Today I am wearing a tie..  Give him a chance, give the club a chance, if you see bad things going on, then mention it to him, if he picks the club over you then no contest, pick up and leave.

    Now that sir
    Is fun to read haha

You know yourself,  your partner and your relationship better than anybody else does. If you're feeling nervous about it or in doubt,  pay attention to that.

to hair diva.-----You should absolutely NOT stay with him or go out with him, or hang out with him,or marry him, or have him live with you. If he goes down, then you go down too. He would make a terrible husband and father.

I would not marry me. I know everything about me and I don’t belong around diapers, kids or raw social issues. I have been in MC gangs, drugs, alcohol and crime. Stupidity is a disease of self defeat before someone else can and in opposition to anyone who seems to care. Its arrogance and ego over any other consideration…denied with every breath. Being there is to be a raptors edge in a hellish night of screams, agony and passion…running close to death and surprisingly…nearly dying.

I have been there and getting out of hell is just existing on the edge without a shred of hope unless your love of life shows you how to live.

Robert, was it all worth it ?

Learning what not to do can be painful but there is no interest in it for me to repeat such errors, hoping for different results...because, like war, there is nothing there to be gained but a false sense of reality. What is worth having in my life does not require crutches to get there.

    ....is he worth it ?

....opinion : if not, move on.

You would be asking for misery on earth, if you enter a legal agreement of marriage with that man, if that is the life that you want, go for it, otherwise if you want a better life look for a better man with the quantities that you want in a mate for life, if you are talking about marriage to a hater. Here is another bad example to join the example that you had.

This is what happen in May, now in July he wants her to pay for the car to be returned to her. This is what he does to show how much he cares.

This story was forwarded to me from a friend or two, because they wanted to show me and the women in my family what can happen with a wolf in the hen house.
