Once upon a time, in the most boring garden ever, there lived some of the most boring gnomes ever. These little gnomes, whose number is quite large, are known by many as just gnomes, because they really don't do much of interest.
They never go on great adventures, searching for buried pirate treasure or fighting aliens or anything like that. They just go about picking flowers or talk about boring stuff while they comb their beards, which were all white, nothing fancy.
They almost had something interesting happen one day, but then it turned out to be nothing worth talking about, so they continued to live their boring lives doing boring things, until eventually they would die from boredom, leaving the next generation of boring gnomes to continue the tradition of being boring and doing nothing that would interest anyone. And this would go on and on and on and on and on and... Well, you get the idea.
