it depends on my mood and occasion with clothing, very neutral in my house with an occasional splash of colour, but I do tend to lean toward the colours of Autumn

This question could be improved by going a little further with it...  What is your favorite color and what is your favorite THING that is that color?  Or something like that.....

I generally say that BLUE is my favorite color, and there are so many shades of blue, I feel really safe saying that.  Ask me what is my favorite blue THING, and suddenly, I have to give some serious thought to the answer.

The absence of color is black. When I paint, I like to start with black as the background in areas of the canvas where depth is to be expressed and layer up from dark shadows toward gradual illumination and color. I see black as the beginning of creation in deep mystery that gradually reveals all things as they are. So I like black, but black is not a color, but the absence of color and white is all colors. Were your question asking for my favorite letter, my answer would be the question mark…?
