Thank you. It worked a treat. The timeout setting can be set to 15 secs, 30 secs,1,2,5,10,or 30 mins. I have reset it to 2mins which gives ample time to read a page of a book in OverDrive app. The power saving dimming does not occur when using the Kindle app, so presumably this app turns off the power saving dimming. I was not aware of the Dummies site and have now bookmarked it. Again Thank you
