Actions speak louder than words. Being helpful and respectful are good actions. Surprise her by setting the table or doing dishes without being asked. Give her a flower ( one works as well as a dozen ) with a short note that says "Mom, I love you".
Moms are easy. Any little thing makes us mushy.
