How do I increase the size of the virtual memory in my computer ?

I went to HELP ......like it said to, but help wasn't very helpful.  My comp. is a Compac....from about 2004.or early in 2005. How do I get rid of all the garbage that I've browsed over the years. ?

Here is where you decide the amount of virtual memory that you need to increase. Try a few hundred megabytes above the assigned amount.

Browsing histories for most operating systems are only stored for 6 month at the most. To delete browsing history it depends on the browser you use.

bring a extendable hard disk clean up exsisting harddisk or use a USB-stick to have some temporary files saved in a other location
