I never cared for "Alley Oop".  MacArthur Park was pretty horrible, too. (So what someone left a cake out in the rain and you lost the recipe).

I liked both of them .Bought that whole album by what's his name that sang Mac Park.
    itsmee

MacArthur Park ... ha ha ha hah ah hah hah ah
I don’t like Stairway to Heaven because I’ve heard it way to often. DJ’s put it on when they have to leave the room for a smoke or a ____. It’s about 7 minute. “If you hear a bustle in your hedgerow, it’s just the may queen doing her spring clean” (That was not a good quote. Sorry) It 6am and I haven’t gone to bed yet!!!! Terrible.

"Here You Come Again"  by some sadistic author. Came out at the time of my separation...

    mycatsmom

    Bob/PKB

Hi Julie, wasn't that Dolly Parton's song?
    jhharlan

    Oh, yes......

    I always disliked "Roxanne" for overall content...or lack thereof....that Sting....what a grandstander !  lol

    Short People by Randy Newman

    Bob/PKB

    That IS a horrible song.
    lindilou

Double Ditto Bob and Pythonlover !
    itsmee

I actually thought it was funny until I read your comments lindilou & Bob. Now I think it’s horrible.
    Bob/PKB

Sometimes a melody is pleasant, but the words really kill it.
    lindilou

Newman said it meant 'short minded' people...I think he should have sang that...lol
    Bob/PKB

That's what I call back-pedaling. Think how the short minded people who hear THAT remark are going to feel!!!
    lindilou

ROFLMAO Bobby!!!!!! ;D (stoopid Randy Whatsisface!)
