    In scrabble are you allowed to make two words with an existing word.

    EX.  If someone put the first word as men, than the second person decided to make men into mend vertically while also spelling another word like bend, or bending horizontally at the exact same time.

    going by the rule book yes you can http://www.scrabblepages.com/blog/words/how-to-layout-a-scrabble-board/  i found this in the rule book 

    Not only is this acceptable, it is an excellent strategy, because you earn points for BOTH words. 

    you can make any word using a previous word as long as it's in the dictonary. it's crazy but it's true
