Does he sign the lease or pay the rent? If so then you live with him otherwise he lives with you and as a parent and his landlord (after he turned 18 he has no right to be there without your permission)you have a right to give him a set of rules. Of course it all depends on how much this means to you. If you're going to fall on a sword you might want to make it a sharp one. Good luck.

If you're ready to become a grandparent, then it shouldn't be a problem.

And it's quite all right to tell your teenager NO! He may actually be told that again sometime, during his life.

Ducky ... You are a funny girl.

He'a 19. If he lives home with you and you are uncomfortable about it, tell him to get his own place.

As long as not with my 16 yr. old daughter~!  (Mine is 16 +  but you get the idea)

What's the difference in laying down watching TV or sitting up??  as long as they aren't 'petting' having sex, kissing, necking, as long as there's no touching other than holding hands and there's no blanket over them.  They are s'posed to be watching TV, that's all.  I see nothing wrong with it.

Lay down with them-- Make them uncomfortable if it bothers you so much.

but Vin, they won't be JUST lying down watching TV.

I had the same idea as you and Colleen. Just cuddle up in the middle of them, Let us know how it worked out.

It is obviously something that makes you uncomfortable, because you have brought it to a worldwide website for advice.
Personally, I don't like it, either.  Tell him, privately, that you are uncomfortable with it. If he is respectful, you did something right.
OTHERWISE, watch TV with them, and tell them to move their heads (NOT FEET), so you can sit on the couch, too.

It's not ok for him to lay down with your girlfriend.

    Good point!

    Oh wise one ...

    Your house - Your rules.

He's of age, but it's your house, so you call the shots. It would be ok if he were in his own apartment or house. It's up to you, Dad.

Ask the girlfriend's parents how they feel about it.

Maybe even make popcorn and rent a $9.00 movie for both families. Get pillows for everyone. Cozy? NO!!!

Mr. Angel Make them lay on the floor then accidentally step on them every few moments. Turn programs on only you like. Invite all your old buddies over to watch TV

    So Good.

I think it's a matter of personal opinion based on what you feel is appropriate in your family home.

You would not need a t/v for entertainment then,

Yes but only in the family room with you and the rest of the household and rent some  movies watch them or  watch TV

as long as they keep their underwear on
