What is sweetcorn oil? I have found corn oil, made from corn or sweet oil, made from olives but no sweetcorn oil.
For corn oil, you can use it this way:
Frying Foods
Corn oil has a high smoke point, meaning that it needs to be heated to 450 degrees Fahrenheit in order to smoke, which is above the temperature to fry most foods.
Margarine
Corn oil is used as one of the ingredients to make many margarines, due to its nutty flavor, milder taste and low cost.
Hot Oil Treatment
Corn oil can make your hair soft and silky, just like the expensive hot oil treatments purchased at any store. Once heated for 15 seconds, it can be massaged into your hair, then washed out.
Shining Steel
Corn oil can be rubbed into stainless steel, then buffed with a cloth to produce a shiny surface that looks brand new.
Seasoning Cast Iron
Corn oil can be used to season a cast iron pan by placing a small layer of oil all over the inside of the pan, then heating it in an oven for two hours. The pan can be maintained by placing a drop of oil in the bottom of the pan and covering it with a paper towel.
