Ethical is doing what is the right thing to do.
Is it ethical to blame someone else for a mistake YOU made?  No.  It is a lie.  A lie is NOT ethical.
Is it ethical to change a price tag at the store when no one is watching?  Yes, it can be done. I did it back in 1976 on a baseball mitt (which I still have).  NO, that is stealing.  Stealing is NOT ethical.
Is it ethical to copy the answers from a classmate?  NO, that is cheating.  Cheating is NOT ethical.
