    how do I keep the bark on sawn logs used for indoor decoration

    I just cut the log this morning

      Bark on wood used for furniture is usually kiln dried and then promptly lacquered, varnished or polyurathaned before the bark has a chance to slip. You might try coating a small one before it drys to see how it would work.
