You must do the portion in (  ) first, in the order presented.

    X^2y = x2y

    X2y^6 =6x12y

    6x12y^-5= -30x60y

You could reduce this to -x2Y

    I think the problem is.........
    (x^2*y^6)^-5

    Look again....2y, not 2*y
    chelleanne

    (x^2y^6)-^5
The ^ is the exponent sign on the computer.
