Maintaining my integrity is very important to me. It has been my life long way of "being in the world". Dishonesty turns me off and it always amazes me, that those who are, believe that no one notices. I think that being that way (dishonest), must be exhausting.

Yes,with no integrity ,one would be a bit of an empty person,

Personal integrity is mandatory to being a good person in a society.  It is the measure of a man, not the bank account, property or tangible things!  It also is what matters when you are gone, it is the foundation of your legacy.

Integrity is everything, for those that know me, they know I am honest, consistent, reliable and will absolutely stand my ground on my beliefs, I respect people, without prejudice,  as I  wish to be treated  myself

One who fails to, or doesn't consider it valuable to maintain one's personal integrity, is a phony and untrustworthy person.  It is important to me to NOT be considered phony and untrustworthy, so for that simple reason (not to mention much more), it is important for me to maintain MY personal integrity.  If I can't be true to myself, for whom can I be true?

My self esteem, dignity and decency which together, mean very much to me.

    Yes. Why not.
