Decide what your price range is. Then, go to the dealer's lot, b/c their used cars have supposedly had the mechanical problems fixed before the put it on the lot. We've had pretty good luck with dealer used cars. The last one I bought only had 12,000 miles on it b/c it was a lease car and someone turned it in . They must have had no children, or grandchildren and didn't smoke. either :-) It's still running well, and it's a red '03 P T Cruiser. It has about 45,000 miles. This year is my car's 10th birthday :-)
