To fly ,every American needs a passport.
For land travel an American minor is 15 or younger. No passport required.
For adults 16 and over will cost $75.00 plus an execution of $25.00 = $100.00 To renew will cost you $75.00
The minor, under 16 is $85.00.
I could only give you an estimate of how long it takes because it varies with high volumes of applications but I hear its a few weeks. If you want expedited service, for an additional $60.00 you can get ti in a few days.
U.S passports are valid for 10 years.
Green Card holders are exempt and can fly to and from Canada, Mexico and 17 nations in the Caribbean without a passport.
Gosh...thank God we only have to do this every 10 years!!!
