    If you take two potatos the same size,one red and one brown, and boil them until tender,the same amount of time, will one get done cooking sooner than the other?

    If you've boiled them until tender they will both be ready, surely?

    General consensus (from what I read on the internet) is, if they are the same size, they will cook to tender in the same amount of time. Why not perform your own test? Get 2 the same size and boil them, bake them or steam them depending on your preference.

    thank you, i plan on performing my own test, time permitting. I will let all know the results.Thought this would be quicker

    It probably would have been quicker had any of the members here tested this out. I could only do an internet search to see what others said. Mainly they all said the same...no time difference.
