I'm not much of a history buff, but old Patrick was a fellow Virginian. Now I'm working on the " doctrine of Manifest Destiny". Pam T.U. for that.

Not many people are saying it now a day's. To bad we keep allowing our freedoms to be lost in the name of safety. There was a question on here the other day that said,"Why don't we make smoking Illegal." I just don't get it, I hate cigarette smoke it makes me sick, but I would never vote to pass a law to make it illegal. I don't want to take someones freedom away from them.

People deserve to have the rights and freedoms that make them happy. Whether I agree with it or not I believe in life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Why should we make more laws banning more things that aren't safe or that we don't agree with? What's going to be next if we keep making laws that ban our personal freedoms?

Just a thought, Patrick Henry rocks, by the way.

No man thinks more highly than I do of the patriotism, as well as abilities, of the very worthy gentlemen who have just addressed the House. But different men often see the same subject in different lights; and, therefore, I hope it will not be thought disrespectful to those gentlemen if, entertaining as I do opinions of a character very opposite to theirs, I shall speak forth my sentiments freely and without reserve.
