how do I download a book from a library onto my Kobo Glow?
I have read all the info given on the Kobo and Adobe websites, but quite honestly, I am not technical and don't understand the info. I have downloaded both Adobe's Digital Edition and Chrome (as recommended by different sites) but still I can't seem to make the necessary transfer to the Kobo. Can someone please give me a simplistic step-by-step run through?

Sorry, this is not an easy thing to do. There are many steps involved. Which library are you trying to download from? Is it a public library? Can you contact them to see if there is an easy way to link to them?
This page shows how difficult the process is: http://elibtronic.ca/content/20100624/adding-public-library-content-your-kobo-ebook-reader

Thank you so much for your quick response. I am glad you said it was a difficult process - I am a senior and are not that technical, but when you consider that the majority of library users are seniors (what else do we have to do) I would have thought the process would have been simpler.
I belong to the Victoria BC Public Library and have read their website and quite honestly it was of little use technically, but I will contact them to see if they can enlighten me. In the meantime, I am going to plow through the website you sent me and see if that helps.
