    Do labrador retrievers have a bad habits difficult to break them of?

    Labs are some of the most easy going dogs as a breed.  They are not the most intelligent breed, but that may be in your favor, as those who are are harder to train from instincts.  He is a retriever, and as such, wants to bring stuff to you, that is not a bad habit... 

    Biscuit, my sister's black lab, has an unbreakable habit of bringing slobbery balls, oranges, and dog " toys" to people and insisting they be thrown for him to retrieve. ...repeatedly.

    Maybe because he was bred for generations to retrieve... It is in his fiber, and is not really a bad habit at all...
