Back in the earler 2000s, it was heralded as being a miracle drug for Leukemia.and some other cancers. It was supposed to starve the cancerous cells of oxygen, and they would wilt away. It was on the Rx market and being used on humans. Never heard another word about it. Now, two of my friends have leuekia, and they never had a chance to try Gleevac. One is my friend's son , who is 34, and he's not doing too well. And the other one is one of my g.friends, She 57 and has a slower moving leukemia than his. Has anyone out there ever known someone that took the drug ? How did they do ?
