Former Governor of Alaska Sarah Palin has warned that the federal government is “stockpiling bullets” in preparation for “civil unrest,” adding that America is “finished” if it cannot deal with its debt problem. -
“If we are going to wet our proverbial pants over 0.3% in annual spending cuts when we’re running up trillion dollar annual deficits, then we’re done. Put a fork in us. We’re finished. We’re going to default eventually and that’s why the feds are stockpiling bullets in case of civil unrest.”
…The Department of Homeland Security has committed to purchasing around 2 billion bullets over the course of the last year, in addition to buying 7,000 fully automatic assault rifles last September (the agency referred to them as “personal defense weapons”).
Although the mainstream media has played down the purchases as the feds merely saving money by buying in bulk, the ammo buys have contributed to shortages across the country.

They can't find a way of getting the guns away from the people, so they are spending billions to buy the ammo so there is none on the shelves for the general public.
These are the actions of a tyrannical government with a tyrannical leader.
Or maybe Sarah Palin is just plain crazy and the rest of the people are just seeing things when they go to buy ammo and there is none.

Maybe she just comes across as a dummy, but I think that she is more than a ditzy figure.. The Republicans saw something in her to have her running back in '08, I guess...

It would be nice to end all need for protection, but then there would be no fences, dirt and gold would have equal value and there would be no secrets. Curious how things that diminish the value of our commonwealth can be so divisive.

The threat of potential conflict is born of uncertainty and fear on condition that the economy magically disappears and assumes that the Public will panic, riot and descend into chaos requiring some form of marshal law to restore faith beyond bread lines amid the “Hunger Games” scenario.
I am quite sure we can handle our problems better than that…and are on just such a better path already.
For one thing, Your probably the one off there rocker. If you can't under stand what a budget is, and the cost of not paying your debt. May be you need to go to Vegas not pay your debt and see what they would do to you.

By the way, I happen to agree with Sarah. That's saying a lot since I don't really care for her.
