Well I never used it but found some over internet.
Unlike tobacco products, there are no current laws in effect prohibiting the use of * (link deleted by moderator) * in public places. Case in point, I work in a hospital and a fellow nurse smokes them right there in the nursing station.
Here's what current research says about the positive aspects of this product::
- In a study of 40 tobacco-dependent smokers, researchers concluded that smoking e-cigarettes alleviated the desire to smoke (after abstaining from smoking overnight), was well-tolerated, and pharmacologically more like a Nicorette inhaler than tobacco.
- Another study of 50 smokers who wanted to reduce the health risks associated with smoking, but not quit completely, concluded that the < promoting your device without paying an ad fee is prohibited here. In addition, when participants smoked < promoting your device without paying an ad fee is prohibited here. However, the study concluded that because the < promoting your device without paying an ad fee is prohibited here. Personally I have tried them and they were no help whatsoever, I live in the UK and we get a lot of free help and assistance to stop smoking, I believe the only way to stop is sheer willpower and you MUST really want to stop, I still smoke BTW.

I bought one for my son and he said it was "ok". I suppose one advantage is you can suck on it in places where smoking is prohibited. For the cost vs equivalence, the ecig cost less than $8. A pack of 20 is around $5 as a bargain. The ecig gives the equivalent of about 3 packs.
Quitting takes won't power. It is a choice. I would smoke those if I wanted to smoke. Less expensive and fewer carcinogens. I

There is an article in the current New Scientist on this subject. It appears that a significant number had quit, especially compared with those on nicotine skin patches.
The most interesting fact is that British American Tobacco has bought the company Nicadex which makes the e-cigarette, so what that means is that at last a tobacco company has admitted that their product is harmful to health. The e-ciggy may be available on prescription eventually.
