I'm not sure where your from saw, but in the states we have a yellow light that does what you want.. When the light goes from green to yellow you know you should be stopping..

This light is the International symbol in traffic light language which indicates that the driver of any vehicle on the road should STOP. Viiolating this symbol can result in all sorts of negative outcomes, some of which are life altering.
The solution to this is, 'Don't leave home'. Those red lights breed like bunnies.
