i need to know how to set the the valve timing on a 2003 oldsmobile bravada 4.2liter straight six, there are three timing marks(one on the crank and one on each of the overhead cams but there are twelve black links on the chain) so my question is which links and how to line up properly have the proper diagram and i am pretty sure how its done but would like some further insight to be sure as if this isnt right then the valves will collide and ruin the valve job that was just done....thanks every

I can usually find information like this on the web. No luck today though. Another member might be able to find you the information but if you are in a hurry you could Go to autozone.com, fill out a free registration to use their help library (free) http://www.autozone.com/autozone/myzone/profile/login.jsp then go to repair help
