Not the same year but follow these steps and you should find the relay. The location may be different but the steps will remain the same.
Things You'll Need
Socket set
Instructions
1
Open the hood of your 2001 Dodge Caravan and remove the negative battery cable before starting work.
2
Locate the wires leading from your Caravan's radiator fan motor. The fan is located just behind the radiator and the wires are attached on the left hand side.Trace these wires with your fingers moving away from the radiator fan. The relay is mounted on the frame near the left headlight, or to the bottom and left of the radiator.
3
Disconnect the relay electrical connector. You won't have a lot of room to work with. However, if you jiggle it slightly back and forth in a forward motion the connector should come loose without too much trouble.
4
Remove the rivet holding the relay to the frame with the socket set.
5
Place new relay into place and replace the rivet using the socket set. Re-connect the electric connector to your Caravan's fan relay
6
Re-connect the negative battery cable.
7
Start your Dodge Caravan and allow it to run for a few minutes until you hear and see the radiator fan turn on. It may take a few minutes for the fan to engage, as it typically runs in cycles.
