My Craftsman snow blower starts and then stops. The start cord won't come out what's wrong?

I would remove the pull start mechanism, watching how it fits together for reassembly.  Next, with spark plug wire disconnected, try turning the flywheel by hand, if you cannot, the engine may be frozen up, or seized up.  You could find the problem right with the pull cord, however, and just repair it and start back up, do not forget the plug wire needs reconnecting!
